RANGERS’ new striker Joe Garner is set to keep Scottish referees busy after it was revealed he was the most fouled player AND committed the most fouls in the English Championship last term.

In his last season at Preston North End, Garner was fouled 129 times in his 39 starts in the league, but gave away 98 free-kicks during the season.

Garner also collected 12 yellow cards last season, with MK Dons’ Kyle McFadzean topping the list with 14 cautions.

Now the 28-year-old striker looks certain to make his debut for Mark Warburton’s side at Rugby Park tonight against Kilmarnock.
