Drop the obsession

IS the latest exposure of the SNP’S inability to competently govern Scotland (poorer education world ranking) going to be written off as ‘it wasnae me!’?

This is yet more evidence that the current administration is struggling to fulfil its devolved powers, and no matter what nicola Sturgeon’s script says, the buck has to stop with the SNP. You just have to look at education, health, policing, transport etc and see the shortcomings of the SNP, and wonder what state the country would be in if we had gone independent nine months ago.

i’m sure the SNP will continue its relentless pursuit of independence regardless of the urgent need to get a grip of the problems it needs to tackle, and just as with the lengthy build-up to the 2014 referendum its eyes will be ‘off the ball’ and firmly focused on yet another referendum that the majority of Scots do not want.
