A DEDICATED FOLLOWER OF FASHION (With apologies to Ray Davies of The Kinks)

They seek her here, they seek her there, In Downing Street and Berkeley Square, She’s always in the press, And so she dresses to impress, ’Cos she’s a dedicated follower of fashion.

And when she does a walkabout, Her shoes are all they talk about, One day she’s in kitten heels, The next day she’s in flats, ’Cos she’s a dedicated follower of fashion.

Oh yes she is (oh yes she is!) Oh yes she is (oh yes she is!), One thing that she loves is being stylish, In sexy leather kecks She looks more glam than Mrs Becks, ’Cos she’s a dedicated follower of fashion.

And when she shops in some boutique, The clothes she buys are always chic, Tailored suits and shirts, And evening dresses with slit skirts, ’Cos she’s a dedicated follower of fashion.

Oh yes she is (oh yes she is!) Oh yes she is (oh yes she is!) At least she’s brought some glamour to the House now, Her outfits cause a stir, But I say, ‘jolly good for her!’ ’Cos she’s a dedicated follower of fashion. I. G. Fenner, New Milton, Hants.
