WITH silverstone considering breaking its British Grand Prix contract in 2019, dare we hope Brands hatch will step into the breach?

I’ve followed Formula One since 1964, from the first outing at this circuit until the last in 1986. My son and I were among the crowds that flooded onto the Brands hatch track in 1986 to hail that great racer Nigel Mansell following his first Grand Prix win. What a day that was!

so, Bernie ecclestone, please let Brands hatch have a shot at this event again, and please be realistic about fees so we can once again have Grand Prix racing at one of the best circuits in the world. ALAN KING, Deal, Kent.
