Killie v Aberdeen

Kick-off: 1pm. DEREK McINNES’ decision, as well as contract extensions for Jonny Hayes and Andrew Considine, have come at a great time for Aberdeen as they look to build on their 7-2 thumping of Motherwell and pull away from Rangers in the race for second place. Judging by the two league meetings with Killie this season, the Dons should have no problem dismissing their opponents, who will have Lee McCulloch in charge. Ahead of this match, Aberdeen have an aggregate scoreline of 9-1, winning 4-0 at Rugby Park at the start of the campaign — their 12th victory in a row against the Ayrshire side.

PROBABLE TEAMS:

KILMARNOCK (4-2-3-1): Woodman; Hendrie, Ajer, Osborne, Taylor; Dicker, Smith; McKenzie, Longstaff, Jones; Boyd.

ABERDEEN (4-2-3-1): Lewis; Logan, Taylor, Reynolds, Considine; Jack, Shinnie; McGinn, McLean, Hayes; Rooney. Referee: Andrew Dallas.

Dundee v Rangers

Kick-off: 3.15pm. A POINT did Dundee no harm last weekend against Kilmarnock but it will be interesting to see how Rangers perform back in league action since the unceremonious events surrounding Mark Warburton’s Ibrox departure. Rangers have won the two matches with Dundee this season — albeit narrowly — and this may well be a familiar tale. The Dens men have lost each of the last 11 games with Rangers — a run stretching back to a 2-2 draw in May 2004. In that run, the visitors have won six times on Tayside, conceding just two goals in those games and keeping four clean sheets. PROBABLE TEAMS: DUNDEE (5-3-2): Bain; Kerr, Etxabeguren, Gomis, Gadzhalov, Holt; Hateley, Ross, McGowan; Wighton, Haber. RANGERS (4-3-3): Foderingham; Tavernier, Hill, Kiernan, Wallace; Hyndman, Holt, Toral; McKay, Garner, Miller. Referee: Craig Thomson.
