Vote to save the UK

THERESA May is absolutely correct in what she says – one sure way of scuppering any plans for the SNP to get its way and hold another divisive and unwanted independence referendum is indeed to vote for another party in the May elections.

Regardless of our political persuasion, either voting Labour, Lib Dem or even Conservative is definitely the way forward. The SNP majority has got to be reduced drastically. There is no point in complaining about the dismal way the Nats have been running our country for the last ten years if voters do not make an effort to oust them. Our future lies in the Scottish electorate’s hands. Voting them out is the only chance we have of redressing the mess we are currently in. ELIZABETH CORBETT-ZOK,
