STARCOM plunged after revenues for its new Watchlock Pro product were hit by delivery delays.

The firm, which develops wireless tracking solutions, also had issues with its Helios vehicle location system after a customer was slow to connect the units it had ordered.

Starcom said it had taken action and was receiving a good level of new customer enquiries. But the firm said it would report a loss before tax of about £1.2m. Shares plunged 37.5pc, or 1.12p, to 1.88p.
