Mullins: No gloating if I beat O’Leary

WILLIE MULLINS has insisted he is not motivated by revenge going into the Cheltenham Festival, where he will try to beat horses removed from him by Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary last autumn.

Mullins’ 48 winners make him the most successful Festival trainer of all time with 15 coming in the past two years.

He still has around seven favourites for the four-day meeting starting on March 14, headed by Douvan — 1-4 for the Queen Mother Champion Chase — and dual Gold Cup runner-up Djakadam. Mare Limini could well become another one once her addition to the Champion Hurdle is confirmed.
