It spoils our anniversary treat

BARBARA and Keith Workman booked flights to Cyprus to mark their golden wedding anniversary.

They made the reservations last May – months before BA announced it would end free food and drink.

However their celebration has been tainted by BA’s retreat on its promise to include refreshments.

Mrs Workman, 70, from Lincolnshire said: ‘The way that BA has handled this has left a very nasty taste. I rang to complain, but frankly they were very rude.

‘We had a booking that made clear the food was included.

‘One of the reasons people booked with BA was because of the food. I used to like what they offered as it helped to pass the time. ‘It seems to me that thousands of people have been let down.’
