Bottom line for Lily

THE actress Lily James had a supporting role as Lady Rose in Downton Abbey, then squeezed into a corset with a 20in waist to star in Disney’s Cinderella. Now she is appearing naked in World War II drama The Exception (right).

Yet in the past she has taken offence when being asked about her body. ‘Why do women always get pointed at for their bodies?’

Perhaps her naked sex scenes on the kitchen table in her new movie may provide the answer. Who needs a corset with a figure like that?
