WE KNEW Beyonce was expecting twins, but otherwise she’s kept mum on details.

The couple like to keep fans in suspense and currently the twins’ gender is unknown — although U.S. media reported last night that she’d had a boy and a girl.

Barack Obama, a friend of the couple, appeared to reveal they were both girls in a comment about Jay-Z last week. One thing we can be sure of — they won’t be called John, Peter, Jane or Sarah.

As with big sister Blue, fans expect colours to be woven into appropriately wacky Tinseltown names. The Carters are notoriously controlling about their public image, but even they’ll have had little control over their new babies being born under the sign of Gemini — the celestial twins.
