What ungrateful parents

I WOULD be absolutely delighted if the heads at my children’s schools decreed that they both had to be in bed by 9pm. A blanket ban on smartphones would make me even happier.

Both these measures have been imposed at Great Yarmouth Charter Academy by new head Barry Smith, who is charged with turning the failing secondary school around.

So why some parents have set up a Facebook page in protest, I can’t imagine. If I were them, I’d keep quiet — and just be grateful someone else is prepared to do their job for them.
