OLIVIA, my three-and-a-halfyear-old great-granddaughter was watching horse racing on TV with her grandad. He suggested picking out a horse to win. ‘Which one do you like?’ he asked. Very quietly, Olivia replied: ‘I don’t want to win a horse.’ ‘Oh!’ said Grandad. ‘Why?’ ‘I might fall off,’ she replied.
