ON WEDNESDAY, the BBC ran wall-to-wall pieces on homelessne­ss in the UK and the cause, of course, was Tory austerity. Odd the Beeb didn’t mention a third of the 8,108 registered homeless in London are recent arrivals from Central and Eastern Europe.
