THE rebooted prison comedy picks up a mildly dangerous edge in the funnier second episode, as Fletch (Kevin Bishop) is in hot water over an illicit cake, and his cellmate, Joe, wails in alarm like Marley rattling his chains in A Christmas Carol. Meanwhile, bad boy Dougie Parfitt wants a favour from Aziz and, in the best comedy twist of the episode nice Officer Braithwaite is replaced by a much tougher guard who seems like a soulmate for Meekie — which spells double trouble for Fletch and his crew.
