A FORMER marketing chief at Tesco saw his pay rocket 654pc after securing lucrative deals with John Lewis and Asda.

Tim Mason, 60, joined software firm Eagle Eye as chairman in January last year, switching to chief executive last September.

The firm makes digital coupons for shoppers to redeem.

He was paid £264,000 in the year to the end of June, up from £35,000 the year before.

In July, Eagle Eye reported a 73pc jump in annual sales to £11.1m, up from £6.4m the previous year.
