Honouring the fallen

WITH the Great Glen in the background, the Commando Memorial was the majestic setting for one of the many Remembrance Day services held across Scotland.

Veterans and Army, Royal Marines and special units from all forces gathered for a service at Spean Bridge following a parade through nearby Fort William.

The memorial is in tribute to the Commandos who trained in the area during the Second World War.
