Dembele’s 12-minute hat-trick

CELTIC star Moussa Dembele did his ever-growing reputation no harm at all last night by grabbing an impressive 12-minute hat-trick for France Under-21s. Already being monitored by a string of Europe’s biggest clubs, the striker was in simply stunning form as he tore apart Slovenia’s youngsters in a 3-1 victory. Dembele’s first was from the penalty spot and he quickly followed that up with a close-range volley. He completed his hat-trick with another composed finish as he curled the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area. The 21-year-old (right) narrowly missed out on a place in the senior squad to face Germany and Wales but there’s little doubt his efforts will have been noted by both his country and those clubs who could eventually vie for his signature if and when he decides to depart Parkhead.
