Price of SNP policies

-

AS always, the SNP government is failing to deliver, on ideas and outcomes, and seeking to divert attention by blaming others – usually Westminster, the Tories or Brexit.

With its plans to introduce a heroin shooting gallery for addicts in Glasgow falling foul of UK drug laws, rather than come up with serious policies and measures to tackle Scotland’s drug problems, the SNP is instead demanding that drug policy should be devolved to Holyrood.

This fills me with horror because the current SNP government has made a mess of everything it already controls. Following the independence referendum, and earlier decisions by the UK Government to appease the SNP, a whole raft of additional powers were devolved without asking and obtaining the consent of the Scottish people.

Now we are all paying the price of misguided SNP policies and often incompetent administration affecting our daily lives.

The SNP government also demands control of immigration, but fails to explain why Scotland is not attracting more of the millions of immigrants already in the UK.

Perhaps immigrants don’t see Scotland as a land of opportunity, milk and honey and recent SNP policies implemented and planned are only making matters worse.
