A LOUD and brash reboot for cinema’s biggest ape, offering action, adventure and Tom Hiddleston (pictured with Brie Larson and Thomas Mann) in a semi-macho makeover. The Apocalypse Now nods go somewhat overboard.

COLOURFUL and chaotic story from Baz Luhrmann (Strictly Ballroom), set in fin-de-siecle Paris. Ewan McGregor is the writer who falls head over heels for courtesan Nicole Kidman.
