Meryl Streep’s Globes row with ‘b***h’ Mariah Carey

SHE may be the epitome of glacial coolness, but Meryl Streep, 68, star of the new Steven Spielberg film The Post, likes a good catfight.

The 20-time Oscar nominee was none too amused when she discovered singer Mariah Carey, in a display of lese-majesty, had snaffled her seat at the Golden Globe awards earlier this week. ‘B***h stole my seat,’ Streep recalled. ‘I came over and there she was, next to [Steven] Spielberg, sucking up.

‘I said: “Stay there! I’ll sit in your lap!” Because, you know, it looked comfy.’

This was a not-too-subtle jibe at Carey, 47, whose weight has fluctuated over the years.
