- tracscotland.org/scottishstorytelling-centre/centre-events

JOIN the celebrations in honour of Robert Burns at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh this month.

Fun and excitement for all the family is guaranteed as we start the Year of Young People. Young ones can look forward to a morning of Scottish fairy tales with puppets and a guest appearance by our national Bard himself on January 23.

Play in a Day: Tam’s Mare Meg on January 27 is the perfect chance for young and old to participate in creating and performing a play in a day in front of an audience, including dance, drama, costume-making and music. Or put on your dancing shoes and take your family and friends to take part in Scottish dances, accompanied by live music at the Family Ceilidh on January 27. All dances will be called and there will be easier circles for little ones. If you want to learn some simple Scotch Strathspey and Reels beforehand, learn the steps at Scotch Reels on January 27.
