Self-defeating zealot

-

NO matter how lovely the SNP might be, some supporters make them very hard to like.

I had a separatist zealot tell me this week that if I were ‘a true Scot’ I would write about business donations to the Tory Party.

Whenever your views do not align with those of the separatists, somehow you become less Scottish than them.

you don’t even need to scratch the surface of this ‘civic, joyous’ tartan nationalism. The poison bubbles out on its own.

And a zoomer was on Twitter saying he wanted ‘Scots to marry Scots’ to ‘keep Scotland as Scottish as possible’.

Nationalists will always pretend that their version of nationalism is better than anyone else’s but, at its black heart, nationalism is all the same.
