have danced together for 20 years, but Erin Boag has confessed that, on occasion, she can’t abide her lantern-jawed dance partner, Anton Du Beke.

Erin, 42, likens her partnership with Du Beke, whose real name is Anthony Paul Beke, to a marriage. ‘You have your wonderful moments but you also have your very intense moments where you can’t stand him,’ she says. ‘But the next day it’s all forgotten. I have a certain respect for him.’

In 2009, Du Beke had to apologise abjectly after he told his Stricty Come Dancing partner, actress Laila Rouass, that her fake tan made her look like a ‘P***’.
