A ‘baby boy due in weeks’ – then a blingtastic wedding. And they said Sir Philip Green’s little princess and the Hot Felon wouldn’t last!

- by Alison Boshoff

THE attire, everyone would agree, is not Chloe Green’s usual style. As the spoiled only daughter of Topshop tycoon Sir Philip and his wife Lady Tina, the 27-year-old heiress has spent a lifetime beneath the Mediterranean sun on her parents’ fleet of luxury yachts.

Her standard uniform is an expensive designer bikini and shades, chunky gold jewellery and deep mahogany tan.

She’s even added a dangerous-looking, tattooed boyfriend to the ensemble, in the form of ‘hot felon’, ex-con-turned-model Jeremy Meeks, whom she’s been seeing (and draping herself over) since last summer.

But snapped aboard the £100million super yacht Lionheart in Monaco this week, there was something — dare we say it — mumsy about Miss Green? There she was, slouching in a pair of baggy tracksuit bottoms, her hair piled into a scruffy bun, a tell-tale voluminous ‘hoodie’ stretched over her tummy, which normally she would be basting proudly in the sun.

Only the impressive glitter of a substantial diamond on her left hand showed any vestige of the Chloe we’ve come to recognise.

Could this be confirmation, at last, that Chloe is pregnant and about to become the second Mrs Meeks?

Sources in Monaco say it’s rapidly becoming the worst-kept secret ever. In fact, the baby — and wedding plans — we can exclusively reveal, are already well advanced.

‘The family are fully on board planning a wedding, and Tina is looking forward to being a grandmother,’ the source said.

‘Chloe has been telling everyone that she is having a little boy.’

While Chloe’s pregnancy was first reported only in March and is yet to be officially confirmed, I am told that she is due to give birth ‘soon after the Monaco Grand Prix’.

This would mean that she is around seven months’ pregnant and, given that the Grand Prix is at the end of this month, will give birth some time in June.

Perhaps it is significant that both she and Jeremy, generally enthusiastic users of social media, have posted no images of her in weeks. Instead, the couple have been spending time in Monaco, relaxing at their own apartment in the same block where her parents own a £7 million penthouse.

In this picture-perfect principality, where the sun dazzles on the yachts moored in the marina, and millionaires are ten a penny, paparazzi are virtually unheard of.

She and Meeks are thus able to be together out of the spotlight — while preparing for imminent family life.

Meeks has wasted no time in bonding with his prospective in-laws.

The couple were first spotted in a very romantic clinch aboard the 180ft superyacht anchored off Turkey last July.

The jailbird and married 34-year-old father-of-two, had earned the dubious accolade of the ‘world’s hottest felon’, when his mugshot went viral in 2014.

Once a member of the North Side Crips street gang in California, Meeks was described as ‘one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area’ before he was jailed for possessing a firearm.

He was released from prison in 2016 saying that he had found God, before quickly securing a six-figure modelling job — and ditching his wife and family when he met Chloe.

What on earth, everyone gasped, would Sir Philip say?

Short-tempered and foul-mouthed at the best of times, the 66-year-old billionaire is said to be very protective of his daughter (who hasn’t had a job of any description since 2015).

Surprisingly, however, Meeks has been welcomed into the Green clan with open arms.

Sir Philip and his wife Lady Tina, who is a resident of the tax haven, are actually all smiles where Meeks is concerned.

Despite his lengthy criminal record and the inconvenience of still being legally married, they think he is the best thing that has happened to their daughter in some time.

The source in Monaco said: ‘They think he’s a great influence on Chloe. He is very polite, quiet, almost shy, and seems to really love her. They think he is a nice boy. Everyone gets along with him.’

JErEMy already gets on very well with Lady Tina, who is the ultimate owner of the Arcadia group, and is notably family-centred.

She is said to have been helping them to house-hunt in Los Angeles over the spring, too, with a budget of around £20 million.

Last month, Meeks was introduced to Monaco high society when he joined Sir Philip, Lady Tina and Chloe at a champagne-soaked charity party hosted by Prince Albert II and his wife Charlene in the salubrious Salle des Etoiles venue, to celebrate the rolex Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament.

Among the guests was tennis supremo — and tournament victor — rafael Nadal, who was introduced to Meeks by Sir Philip. His entree was sealed with a handshake.

Will Chloe and Jeremy now settle permanently in Monte Carlo? This seems impossible as he has joint custody of his son, Jeremy Jr, eight, and needs to be in California for two weeks of the month.

A transatlantic future of some sort looks the most likely option for the couple.

Of course, Meeks needs to be free to marry — and it is proving a struggle to free himself of his marriage to nurse Melissa within the desired time frame.

Indeed, I can reveal that in March, his lawyer Vicki Greene filed a motion to the Los Angeles Superior Court seeking to ‘bifurcate’ his divorce.

This means to split the divorce into two parts: the divorce itself, and all the other issues such as child custody, visitation, support, distribution of property and attorney fees.

Typically, it is used in cases where one spouse wants to remarry quickly, meaning a divorce can be rushed through, and all the details sorted out later.

There will be a hearing on June 6, which Meeks seems to be hoping will settle the matter, although both accept there is little chance he and Chloe will be able to marry before the baby arrives.

AND in a filing to the court, the attorney on behalf of Meeks — the ‘petitioner’ — submitted: ‘If not yet completed and/or the Court is not so inclined, then, in that event, the petitioner seeks to bifurcate marital status (not opposed by respondent) so that the marital status may be terminated ahead of all other issues.

‘There has been a complete breakdown of the marriage and no further time or assistance will save the marriage.

‘Both parties are ready to end the marriage and to have the marital status terminated.’

Melissa Meeks’ attorney, Lisa Bloom, tells me: ‘The divorce is not final yet and there is no word on when that is going to happen.

‘Everything is fine and stable as far as she is concerned and she is getting her child support.

‘They have a custody arrangement worked out and her primary concern has always been her child.

‘There is a hearing coming up in June and we are not opposing it and that is to bifurcate the issues of the divorce and the property.’

reports suggest that Meeks has declared an income of £4,300 a month and that the agreement at present is that he will be paying his estranged wife £712 of that.

Sources in Monaco believe that the wedding is to be held in mid-July and may take the form of a civil ceremony at the local Mairie in Monaco — a picturesque little courthouse just a few hundred yards from the royal palace, which is sometimes likened to an ice cream cake.

This would be followed, of course, by a gigantic party nearby, possibly at the Four Seasons in Cap Ferrat, where Chloe’s brother Brandon had his bar mitzvah.

Sources say it is shaping up to be a ‘classic Green party’ with a mega budget and fabulous entertainment, which will serve as a reminder to Green’s enemies that he has come through the BHS scandal with his knighthood intact, and with no action taken against him.

This will see him get back to the serious business of wild spending on vulgar parties — for his 60th he flew 150 guests to Mexico and apparently spent £6 million on festivities.

Afterwards, he and Tina will sail off on the Lionheart for his customary month-long summer holiday cruising around the Med.

The canny, ruthless businessman is still very much in evidence, however, and there may be caution in the choice of wedding venue. Monaco is a uniquely good place to get married if you have money — particularly if you

want to keep hold of it should things fall apart.

The principality has no laws governing separation of assets, and the only wealth that is divided in a divorce is that which was ‘commonly created.’

Local divorce law dictates that all the deeds and bank accounts remain with the person whose name they were under before marriage. Courts have a reputation for being stingy with alimony, too. The advisory website Monaco Wealth Management says somewhat bluntly that the laws are designed to keep out ‘gold diggers’.

Judd Burstein, a New York lawyer, said: ‘Let’s put it this way. If a rich man married a poor woman in Monaco and all she owned at the time of the marriage was a horse, she’d be left like Lady Godiva when the marriage ended. Naked with a horse. The guy would get everything.’ One hopes, naturally, that these considerations are not weighing too heavily with the happy couple, but should they be in the mood to take any advice from Chloe’s canny family, you can see that the Monaco option might win favour.

For now, though, all is sweetness and light, and Jeremy has been embraced by the Greens.

In September last year, Lady Tina took Chloe and her new man as guests to a ritzy charity event in Monte Carlo, and a month later to another charity ball in LA.

Tina has been seen shopping with the two of them in Beverly Hills several times, and holidaying with Chloe in the billionaire’s paradise of St Barts towards the end of last year.

In December, Jeremy and Chloe flew out to Miami, Florida, by private jet to spend the festive season with Sir Philip and Lady Tina, Chloe’s brother Brandon and stepbrother Brett Palos, who has a mansion in the city.

Melissa Meeks said that Jeremy Jr, who joined his father, was gifted Dolce and Gabbana clothes and a Playstation, and that they all stayed aboard the Lionheart with Sir Philip.

Chloe and Jeremy did not join them for Sir Philip’s 66th birthday cruise in March — possibly the Galapagos tour didn’t seem a good idea for a pregnant woman — but Sir Philip did stop off in Los Angeles directly after the cruise to spend time with the two of them.

Jeremy certainly has come a long way since meeting Chloe in Cannes last spring.

Now he’s out of prison and a successful model who is about to marry a billionaire’s daughter.

As his estranged wife Melissa observed: ‘Philip Green is a man of great power and wealth.

‘In that world, you have the money to get what you want no matter what.’

And if a future with Jeremy Meeks is what Chloe wants, then it seems Sir Philip Green is in no mood to put any obstacles in her way.
