About time! Meghan’s mum meets the in-laws

MEGHAN Markle’s mother has been in­tro­duced to the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Corn­wall ahead of to­mor­row’s royal wed­ding.

Do­ria Ragland fi­nally sat down to tea with Charles and Camilla – with fu­ture son-in-law Prince Harry and the US ac­tress also around the ta­ble.

The group had their first fam­ily get-to­gether late on Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon at Clarence House, the heir to the throne’s of­fi­cial Lon­don home. A source de­scribed the gath­er­ing as ‘jolly’ and said ev­ery­one got on ‘ex­tremely well’.

Charles and Camilla’s meet­ing with US-based yoga in­struc­tor Miss Ragland, 61, came dur­ing a busy day of en­gage­ments for the cou­ple.

The mother of the bride had only jet­ted in to the UK from her home in Los Angeles ear­lier on Wed­nes­day.

Miss Ragland also met the Duke and Duchess of Cam­bridge and their two youngest chil­dren Prince Ge­orge and Princess Char­lotte at Wind­sor Cas­tle yes­ter­day af­ter­noon.

Buck­ing­ham Palace has also con­firmed that Miss Ragland will meet her most es­teemed new rel­a­tive by mar­riage – the Queen – for tea to­day, along with Harry and Meghan.
