HE’S the handsome photographer propelled to fame after taking Harry and Meghan’s engagement shots — so no wonder alexi lubomirski couldn’t wait to tell the world he’s arrived for an even bigger gig.

He posted this (rather amateurish) picture of a field along with the caption ‘landed in the Uk’ to his 170,000 followers . . . and was promptly swamped with adulation. ‘Can’t wait to see how you capture this history. You deserve to be there — such a talent’, one wrote, while another put ‘Go get ‘em Tiger’. it’s fitting he’s broadcasting his movements on instagram as he says he got the gig in the first place thanks to the social media site: ‘One of Meghan’s friends saw on instagram that i was in england during the announcement of the engagement and said to her, “You should meet alexi. He’s great.” ’

english-born alexi got his big break as an assistant to Diana’s favourite photographer Mario Testino, making contact with a host of celebrities.
