Tolerate the grumpy

RESEARCH has suggested senior citizens are more likely to be grumpy and less tolerant towards others (Mail).

Is this because older people are more aware of declining standards in society, are less tolerant of inept and uncaring politicians and know what needs to be done to change things, but are frustrated by the Government’s inertia? BOB MacDOUGALL, Kippen, Stirlingshire.
