Nicola makes no sense

-

FANTASY politics returns to scotland with another drive by the snP towards their utopia.

speaking on Peston on sunday, the first Minister exhibited her penchant for switching off reality in her insatiable drive to rip the UK apart.

Does she realise her choice of words – ambition, hope, cost, benefits, seize the opportunities that lie ahead – to describe her vision of independence apply equally to Brexit?

nicola sturgeon has done us all a great favour in highlighting this – both aims have the same goal.

her logic that a 300-year union can be dissolved more readily than a 40-year link with the eU, without serious consequences, is bizarre.

If being ‘ripped out of europe’ is to be a disaster, why would she want to add abandoning your biggest market to our woes? It makes no sense.

no doubt, after two years of labour, the snP’s growth Commission will confirm that, as expected, nothing has changed, just the spin and obfuscation.

WHY should scotland be plunged into another divisive referendum because a few misguided politicians think it is a good idea?

nicola sturgeon wants to explore the possibility of a second vote. We don’t want her or her ideas.

Listen to the voice of all of the people, not just a few. We had a vote on independence. The answer was a resounding no. enough is enough.

GERALD EDWARDS, Glasgow.
