KATE and Meghan aren’t the only women leading the fashion pack in the Royal Family. The Countess of Wessex, 53, put her sartorial stamp on a charity dinner this week when she attended the Leeds Children’s Hospital gala in a £1,195 llamaprint silk-satin shirtdress by British label, Galvan. Mother-of-two Sophie, who prides herself on never using a stylist, adorned her outfit with a silver necklace and earrings and a matching metallic clutch. ‘It’s about my charities but I recognise that I’m on display,’ she says of her style. ‘When you walk into a room, yes, people are going to talk about what you’re doing there, but they’re also going to want to know what you’re wearing.’
