THE first episode of this final season was directed by Emily Deschanel — now, for the lastever instalment, her co-star David Boreanaz (pictured with Deschanel) takes the reins. FUNNY GAMES Taskmaster, 9pm, Dave
IT’S the penultimate episode of this funny challenge show, and the standings are starting to matter — Liza Tarbuck is in the lead, but Tim Vine trails by only 11 points, and Russell Howard is just three behind him. Could the stress be starting to get to second-placed Vine? A rare example of bad language escapes his mouth here.

CIVIL WAR This Is Congo — Storyville, 10pm, BBC4
DANIEL McCABE is a photographer, and that skill really shows in his debut feature documentary about the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There’s a sense of art to the framing of almost every shot, even during the scenes of frontline combat. It’s less successful at analysis, but remains interesting to watch.
