THE Lamborghin­i Miura was produced between 1 66 and 1 73 and is cited as being one of the world’s first supercars.

The P400S Miura, also known as the ‘Miura S’ was first introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1 68.

Its four-litre, V12 engine produces 370 horsepower, allowing it to do 0-60mph in 4. seconds. The car has a top speed of 177mph.

Jazz legend Miles Davis also owned one, which he crashed in October 1 72, breaking both ankles.

Rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen owns one and it can be heard revving during the song Panama.
