IT’S not just Prince Charles
who’s keen on doing his bit to save the environment.
The Queen is advertising for a £50,000-per-year energy and environment manager based at Buckingham Palace.
The advert on the royal website says the job is about ‘ensuring a sustainable future for world famous historic buildings’. It adds: ‘The Royal Household is working hard across our locations and operations to reduce its impact on the environment, using everything from energyefficient LED lighting to hydro-electricity generating plants to ensure efficient running of its sites.’
