The smart set’s talking about... Tattooed Lisa
She used to cut a striking figure, sashaying down the catwalk.
But since becoming the second wife of landowner edward PackeDrury-Lowe in 2016, the former Lisa Wallace (right) has effortlessly adapted to a very new life as chatelaine of Prestwold hall, the magnificent Leicestershire house which has been in her husband’s family for 350 years.
A devotee of Instagram, Lisa keeps her followers abreast of events in Leicestershire, posting images variously showing herself at the point-to-point meeting for the Quorn hunt — the Prince of Wales’s favourite in his hunting days — or striding across the gravel at Prestwold in killer heels, or reclining in a deckchair at a cricket match.
But anyone concluding she’s opted for a life of ease is mistaken. Since taking centre-stage at Prestwold, Lisa has hosted a Wedding Fair — and a Bereavement Awareness Day — while also heading to a reception at the Jamaican high Commission in London to welcome the country’s Prime Minister, Andrew holness.
She and edward have also been to Jamaica to visit Lisa’s 96year-old grandmother — during which, Lisa disclosed, edward displayed a healthy appetite for Jamaican produce.
But perhaps Lisa’s greatest passion is for developing her talents as a designer. ‘Busy wife. I am so proud,’ writes edward, who is surely appreciative that Lisa sports an intriguing tattoo, reminiscent of a sea-lion, which emerges from below her bikini line.
Definitely a first for the traditionalists of the Quorn.
