Call girl is held as she tries to fly to Scotland from USA
A SCOTS prostitute who had sex with a 14-year-old boy in America is still in the US after being arrested while trying to come back to Britain.
Sarah McGill was held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at Orlando’s airport on Saturday as she prepared to board a flight.
She was deporting herself under a plea deal with prosecutors – over a charge of lewd or lascivious battery – which was approved by a judge last week.
But ICE was either not notified or had other reasons to apprehend the 28-year-old, from Galashiels, Selkirkshire.
A friend of McGill said: ‘It doesn’t make any sense. They’re

holding her and they’re going to deport her, which was what she was going to do anyway.’
McGill was arrested on April 6 after having sex with the boy at an Orlando hotel. She could have been jailed for up to 15 years for the crime, known as statutory rape in the UK.
McGill, who claimed to work as a hypnotherapist in Edinburgh but was actually a prostitute who called herself ‘Sophia Belle’, was sentenced to five years probation at a hearing at the Orange County Court last Wednesday.
Judge Marc Lubet said her probation would be terminated upon her leaving the US, meaning her sentence was effectively deportation.
An ICE spokesman said Miss McGill was arrested on ‘immigration violations’ with ‘plans to remove her to her home country’.
