AFTER 64 years of happy marriage, Kirk Douglas and his wife are still inseparable.

The pair, who have a combined age of 200, were spotted enjoying a day out in Los Angeles.

Douglas, 101, and his wife Anne Buydens, 99, were pushed along in wheelchairs by their carers.

Hollywood star Douglas has been married to the former actress and producer since 1954, a year before he starred in the film Lust for Life as the artist Vincent van Gogh.

Douglas sported a white shirt with top button undone, a pair of navy blue trousers and slip-on loafers, leaving his ankles exposed. His wife wore a green long-sleeved top and covered up with a grey blanket.

The Spartacus actor will turn 102 in December, but still tries to keep active – and son Michael Douglas revealed this year that his father still exercises with a personal trainer.

The 73-year-old actor told TV host Lorraine Kelly: ‘He still has a trainer. He works out with a trainer at 101.

‘I remember when Dad was 90 and he had a guy that he worked out with for more than 30 years, 40 years, Mike Abrams.

‘I went to see Dad one day, he was 90 and wasn’t feeling so good. I said, “Dad, what’s wrong? You don’t look good.” He said, “Ah, Mike died.” I said, “Ah Dad I’m so sorry, Mike died? How old was Mike, Dad?” “94.”’
