FREEVIEW MOVIE Enough Said, 7.10pm, Film4

SUPERIOR, funny and charming romantic comedy about love in middle age. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini are the divorcees with much to think about when they get together.

RUGBY LEAGUE Salford Red Devils v Toulouse Olympique, 7.30pm, Sky Arena & Main Event

BOTH sides need the victory at the A.J Bell Stadium tonight in this final round of Super 8 Qualifiers. While the home team would guarantee a top-three finish and a place in next year’s Super League, Toulouse are trying to hold on to fifth and a chance of promotion via the million pound game.

A REMARKABLE LIFE Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story, 9pm, BBC4

THIS riveting documentary tells the incredible story of Hedy Lamarr (pictured), the stunning Hollywood actress who also invented the technology behind wi-fi and Bluetooth. Her life is so eventful, it’s enough to leave you dizzy and, occasionally, with a tear in the eye.

AMBITIOUS PLANS Impossible Builds, 9pm, More4

AS THE title suggests, Charlie Luxton’s new series takes property dreams a step beyond Grand Designs. The couple here want to build a bolthole on a remote clifftop over a loch in the Scottish Highlands. The location is ridiculous — stunning, but ridiculous — and the only way forward is a ‘kit home’.

SCI-FI SERIES Reverie, 9pm, SyFy

MARA and Alexis both question their past in the season finale to this glossy U.S. fantasy, in which the entire virtual reality playground they’ve been policing nears collapse. This episode leaves one big question hanging, but provides a solid enough ending for the characters should the show not return.

SPACE ADVENTURE Star Trek Into Darkness, 9pm, Film4

THE rebooted USS Enterprise crew, headed by Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk, face Benedict Cumberbatch’s evil Khan. Meanwhile, Bones (Karl Urban) has plenty to complain about, Scotty (Simon Pegg) goes rogue, and Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Kirk’s bromance is sorely tested.

FILM ROMANCE Night Owls, 9.50pm, Sky Premiere

ROMCOM with an acerbic edge, starring Adam Pally and Rosa Salazar. After a drunken night together, Kevin must spend 12 hours locked in a house with his seemingly unhinged ‘date’.

GRUESOME TALES American Horror Story: Apocalypse, 10pm, Fox

JOAN COLLINS features in the new run of Ryan Murphy’s nutty horror anthology, which unfolds after a nuclear apocalypse — partly in a grim ‘outpost’ — and brings back bits of both seasons one (Murder House) and three (Coven). It promises to be a satisfying season for fans.

NEW COMEDY DRAMA Sick Of It, 10pm, Sky One

SKY’S new series has been tailormade for Karl Pilkington (pictured). He plays a sad sack who despairs at everything and whose girlfriend has understandably walked out. He also plays a devil (or angel?) on his shoulder, who says he should act exactly as he pleases, and the results of that only begin to pay off in episode two.
