THREE STEPS TO DELICIOUS
Yummy recipes from just 3 ingredients. This week:
1. Preheat the oven to 170c. Set aside 12 pecan halves and blitz the rest in a blender.
2. Blitz the dates, too. (Or chop finely by hand, if you’re worried they will clog up the blender.)
3. Mix the nuts and dates together until combined, then stir in the maple syrup.
4. Pick up small heaps of mixture with teaspoons. Place a few centimetres apart on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper. Flatten with the back of a spoon. Place a pecan half on top of each.
5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until just holding together. Cool on the baking sheet.
