I’m all real! Myleene’s fury over cosmetic surgery ad
SHE’S an advocate for ‘body positivity’ and maintaining her figure through hard work and a good diet.
So it was no surprise that Myleene Klass took offence when she found out a cosmetic surgery firm was using her picture to promote its breast enlargement and liposuction services.
The singer, 40, attacked Glow by MYA for posting the photo on its Instagram feed as ‘inspiration’ yesterday.
She replied to the post, which has since been deleted: ‘Please take this down. If a woman wants to change her body, that’s her choice but to use my image which hasn’t been near a knife to sell your promises of perfection is not inspirational but false advertising plus, you don’t have my permission.
‘I got where I am with hard work, hustle and a whole reel of gaffer tape! No knives, no silicone, no extra pressure on women full stop. We are lovely as we are.’
Miss Klass, who has two young daughters, then repeated the complaints in an angry post on her own account, adding: ‘I’m all for a girl making her own choices but not this way, not more needless pressure ... Let a girl live.’
London-based MYA – Make Yourself Amazing – offers a variety of procedures at its clinics nationwide. It has previously used Tess Daly, Amanda Holden and Julia Roberts as ‘inspiration’.
MYA did not respond to a request for comment.
