£600 brow treatment leaves her looking just like Groucho
SHe’S admitted to having facial laser procedures, Botox and a £1,600 cellulite treatment to keep herself looking younger.
But Trinny Woodall has truly, ahem, raised eyebrows with her latest cosmetic stunt which at one point gave her a hilarious resemblance to Groucho Marx.
The stylist and TV star, 54, was undergoing a ‘microblading’ procedure in which tiny lines are tattooed on to the eyebrows to make them look fuller.
Miss Woodlall documented the £600 process in a 40-minute video. During the treatment at Suman Brows in London, she had several cuts made in her eyebrows, which were then filled with semi-permanent dye to match her hair colour.
The former What Not to Wear presenter said she was ‘very happy’ with the outcome, which should last for 12-18 months. The mother of two said she was keen to fill in the ‘uneven’ parts of her brows that were ‘irritating’ her. First the star had a numbing cream applied to her eyebrows as flyaway hairs were threaded away. Her brows were meticulously measured before a fine blade made up of 16 needles etched colour on to her skin in a seemingly painless procedure.
Miss Woodall then had two thick brown lines temporarily drawn on to allow the dye to be sealed in. It was at this point that her eyebrows appeared to mimic comedy film legend Marx, famous for oneliners such as ‘a man’s only as old as the woman he feels’.
Miss Woodall told the camera: ‘I’ve had less than 20 brows put in, so this is what you call a nanobrow,’ she told the camera.
‘I wanted to have the experience, I wanted to feel what it felt like with the cutting. I think that there are many women who feel like they have uneven brows so this is really for you ladies, for you to see that there’s nothing to worry about if you go to the right person.’
Miss Woodall has been open about her love for exotic beauty procedures and has admitted that she’s been having Botox since she was 37.
