It’s billed as a comedy, but don’t expect laughs — only amused nods — as Kominsky teaches classes, dates and grieves.

XYRJAH GOLDSTON is a single mother who has 24 hours left before she starts a four-year prison sentence. She’s one of two subjects in tonight’s new episode of a sad, real-life U.S. series that counts down the hours of that final day — and doesn’t reveal the full nature of the crime until the end.
