Nicola’s tuppence worth

-

WHILE I’m all for Scotland’s voice being heard on Brexit, why have Nicola Sturgeon on a leaders’ debate on TV? She showed her hand the minute the Brexit result was announced, flying in the face of the vote by declaring the SNP were opposed to leaving the EU.

She hasn’t grasped that very many in her own party voted Leave and there would be no ‘debate’ from her – just more nonsensical complaining. The UK voted Leave and so it must be. Miss Sturgeon’s talk of remaining in the customs union and single market is incompatible with that.

TO borrow a phrase from the old Wild West movies, I think the SNP speaks with forked tongue.

Nationalists tell us that they don’t think the Prime Minister has the interests of our fishermen at heart, but then they say they want to leave the UK and join the EU which will decide who can fish in our waters.

HOW can the SNP complain that everything wrong in this country is down to ‘Tory austerity’ when the Scottish Government has a budget surplus?

NICOLA Sturgeon insists she cannot accept a Brexit deal that makes Scotland poorer – but an independence deal that would break us all is fine, apparently. She really is all over the place with this.
