SCENIC ROUTES of England
Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in a BMW 8 Series Convertible
WHAT better way to spend a weekend than driving around the home counties in a top-of-the-line luxury BMW V8 with the roof down and the engine crooning? With tantilisingly twisty roads and the most beautiful countryside, there’s also plenty to do along the way…
1. CLIVEDEN HOUSE:

Set your navigation to take you 30 minutes towards Great Missenden, a delightful little village in the Chiltern Hills, well known as the home of Roald Dahl. So a visit to the Roald Dahl Museum is a must for the big kid in all of us, and for the little ones, too. Fans of the author will love this glimpse at his life. > roalddahl.com/museum
3. PRINCES RISBOROUGH:

4. BRITWELL SALOME:
Take a slight detour as you drive towards Henley, going via Britwell Hill, to savour the views across South Oxfordshire.
5. HENLEY-ON-THAMES:
Your last stop is Henley – home of the world-famous rowing regatta. Park the car and check in at the Hotel du Vin before taking a stroll along the riverside to enjoy a drink at one of the many pubs. Bring your day to a conclusion with dinner at the hotel’s bistro. > hotelduvin.com
