TOUR THE SEAWORLD Parks

Wild rides, wildlife and wonderful weather – have fun and give back with a Florida adventure this summer

-

WHEN it comes to compiling our holiday bucket lists, few destinations tick every box like Florida.

From unbeatable beaches to fabulous food and, of course, wonderfully warm weather, the Sunshine State is a serious contender for the ultimate summer-holiday hotspot.

But while it’s perfect for indulging in some laid-back, sun-soaked R&R, Florida is also amazing for those of us with adventurous spirits, as the home of the SeaWorld Parks. Visitors can experience the wonders of the world’s most fascinating wildlife – while helping to protect its future.

As an Orlando institution for over 50 years, the SeaWorld Parks are world leaders in animal conservation, rescuing more than 35,000 animals and donating a staggering $16.5 million to research and education projects to protect natural habitats, rehabilitate animals and help keep our oceans healthy.

But they are also world leaders in putting the fun in fundraising. At the SeaWorld Parks, not only do your tickets get you a front-row seat on some of the world’s biggest and best rides, but your visit also helps support animal rescue and conservation work across the globe.

Take to the skies on Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest coaster, Mako at SeaWorld, before making a splash down the world’s tallest river rapid drop, Infinity Falls.

ADRENALINE RUSH

IF you fancy continuing your wet and wild activities, head to Discovery Cove, where you can enjoy an underwater swim amid colourful coral and tropical fish, or relax and unwind on white-sand beaches.

If that doesn’t get the adrenaline rushing quite enough, it’s time to whiz your way through Aquatica, the king of all water parks, filled with super-sized slides. Kick-start your day by tackling brand new KareKare Curl, where you’ll feel weightless as you climb a vertical wave wall!

The fun continues over at Busch Gardens, where you get the chance to ride Florida’s tallest launch coaster, Tigris. If that sounds too daunting, how about getting in a spin on Cobra’s Curse? This is one the whole family will enjoy.

Whether you walk on the wild side and spend your holiday slipping and sliding, one thing’s for sure – a summer adventure at the SeaWorld Parks will make waves in your memory for ever.
