THIS unexpected­ly compelling series returns with a dramatic project — the demolition of the huge towers at the coal-fired Ironbridge power plant in Shropshire. The show tries to flesh out what the building means to the community, which makes it more interestin­g than many programmes of this kind.

A LEAN and mildly sinister re-creation of a wiped episode from 1957, in which Tony’s (Kevin McNally) curtaintwi­tching over a new neighbour leads him into danger. Jon Culshaw and Robin Sebastian’s full-throttle impression­s of Sid James and Kenneth Williams are the highlights.
