Helping keep the germs at bay, nurses (and Nicole) do their bit
SHE’S the Essex housewife who’s amassed a tidy fortune as the nation’s social media cleaning ‘influencer’.
And in these worrying times, the ways of Sophie Hinchliffe – aka Mrs Hinch – are helping inspire the nation to keep on top of daily hygiene.
Nurses from Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust channelled the glamorous Instagram star as they disinfected their department in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The Trust shared the photo on its Instagram page with the caption: ‘Our fantastic MAU [Medical Assessment Unit] Team have been #hinching and giving the department a spring clean.
‘Inspired by @mrshinchhome, their saying is “A bleach and a spray keeps the germs at bay!”’
To their delight, Mrs Hinch, 30, shared the picture with her 3.2million followers and praised their efforts, writing: ‘REAL life superwomen. Thank you.’
Meanwhile Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger
‘Trying not to touch my face’
was determined to do her bit to make sure fans follow official health advice.
The 41-year-old American singer, who was also a judge on The X Factor, posed on Instagram in a plunging black latex bodysuit wearing gloves. She captioned the image: ‘Practising social distancing and trying not to touch my face.’
The star also wore the same outfit – with striking red lipstick – in a video of her washing her hands to the beat of her new song, React. Sharing the clip with her 4.4 million followers, she reminded them: ‘Wash those hands!’ The Pussycat Dolls have been forced to postpone their reunion tour amid the outbreak.
Pop diva Mariah Carey shared a similar clip of herself with her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, eight, demonstrating the correct way to wash hands.
