pretends she’s the blind date of Simon Pegg’s fortysomething, who is soon to be divorced. Bell and Pegg (pictured) have chemistry, which helps to lift a familiar ‘will they, won’t they’ tale out of the bargain bin.

The Man With The Iron Heart, 11.15pm, BBC2

THIS fact-based drama is the incredible true story of the mission carried out by two brave Czech Resistance fighters to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich, the Nazi mastermind behind the Final Solution. Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Stephen Graham lead the cast.
