THE old favourite is back with a new series of green-fingered delights. Monty Don has his sharpened tools — and lovely pups — at the ready as he helps Longmeadow to recover from the wet winter. We also meet an enthusiast­ic planter with more than 1,000 delightful pots on display in Somerset, and a visit to RHS Wisley gives Frances Tophill (pictured) some houseplant inspiratio­n.

pretends she’s the blind date of Simon Pegg’s fortysomet­hing, who is soon to be divorced. Bell and Pegg (pictured) have chemistry, which helps to lift a familiar ‘will they, won’t they’ tale out of the bargain bin.

The Man With The Iron Heart, 11.15pm, BBC2

THIS fact-based drama is the incredible true story of the mission carried out by two brave Czech Resistance fighters to assassinat­e Reinhard Heydrich, the Nazi mastermind behind the Final Solution. Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Stephen Graham lead the cast.
