ITV’S Sixties pop show was host to everyone from the Beatles to Burt Bacharach, and audience members could roam free. ‘You could actually touch the pop stars,’ recalls one, who was a 14-year-old girl at the time, in a new documentar­y that really brings the show’s story to life.

LONDON COPS Bulletproo­f, 9pm, Sky One

NOEL CLARKE (pictured) and Ashley Walters are the stars of this buddy police action show, which kicks off series two with plenty of stunts. The Americans have always dominated this genre, and Bulletproo­f clearly takes its cues from them, but it also has a very strong British accent. The bad boys’ tough boss is played by Lindsey Coulson (East Enders’ Carol Jackson).

ITALIAN CRIME Thou Shalt Not Kill, 9pm, More4

GREY is the predominan­t colour in this moody crime drama, but that doesn’t keep it from weaving a steadily haunting spell. In this first of a new, second season, the softly-spoken Inspector Ferro (Miriam Leone, pictured) is forced to face her own past when a dead woman’s body is discovered.

SCI-FI SEQUEL Blade Runner 2049, 9pm, Sony Movies

THIS belated yet triumphant sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 science fiction classic stars Ryan Gosling as a blade runner, a cop tasked with killing androids (or replicants) who have gone rogue. The twist? He’s a replicant himself, and he knows it.

REALITY STAR Vicky Pattison Spills The Beans, 10pm, TLC

SHE was a finalist on Celebrity Master Chef, and now Vicky hosts a new dinner party one-off in which she asks her guests (Pete Wicks and Ferne McCann) to bring along their mums for a good chat. It’s a better fit for Pattison’s finely tuned social skills than a random reality show. (Sky 133, Virgin 167)
