HERE’S HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

THE joyful image on the opposite page is of a busy summer’s afternoon at a British country house. Guests of all ages are listening to music, enjoying a picnic and playing games at the fete or larking about in punts on the lake.

The letters are hidden in the picture, but here’s a teaser with extra clues . . .

STEP 1:

Look all around the picture and see if you can spot the eight individual letters that have been cleverly inserted into the scene.

STEP 2:

Keep note of the individual letters as you find them.

STEP 3:

Once you’ve spotted all eight, unscramble them to spell out the name of an English country house or stately home. Write your answer in the grid below, leaving no spaces.
