BRITISH AIRWAYS SALE
BRITISH Airways has launched a flash sale that includes flights from London to Mallorca, Ibiza and Corfu from £30 oneway. Prices are updated daily and bookings must be made by July 23 (ba.com).
EASYJET LOOKS AHEAD
EASYJET has now put its flights on sale as far ahead as September 30, 2021, with fares from £13.99 one-way. Should there be travel restrictions to your destination, passengers can switch their flights up to 14 days before departure without a change fee (easyjet.com).
WIZZ AWAY
WIZZ Air is adding new routes from Luton to Spain including a daily flight to Alicante from August 7 with fares from £25.99 oneway. Other destinations are Valencia, Menorca and Ibiza. A twice-weekly service also launches to the Greek island of Santorini on August 7 (wizzair.com).
RYANAIR DROPS CHARGES
RYANAIR has extended the waiving of its flight-change fee for all bookings to travel in September. The policy already applies for July and August bookings and passengers can reschedule for travel up to December 31 (ryanair.com).
GO DUTCH
KLM will start flights from Southampton to Amsterdam on August 31 with fares from £74 one-way. The airline plans to restore 95 per cent of its European network, along with 80 per cent of its long-haul routes, next month (klm.com).
LUFTHANSA LIFTS OFF
LUFTHANSA is offering non-stop services to Frankfurt from six UK airports with the cheapest route from Heathrow, from £91.47 return. Other connections include Birmingham to Munich from £91.26 return and Manchester to Zurich (pictured), operated by SWISS, from £79.57 return. Passengers may postpone a trip up to the end of 2021 (lufthansa.com, swiss.com).
TOUCH AND GO
UNITED Airlines has introduced the first ‘touchless check-in’ experience at Heathrow — the U.S. carrier currently operates daily flights to New York, Chicago and Washington with San Francisco launching on August 5. Using the airline’s app, passengers can check in, add bags, print luggage labels and scan boarding passes. Just make sure you’re not out of battery... (united.com)
